Bye-Bye :-(
The truth is we didn't have the best weather unfortunately. So i hope I have managed to convey just how perfect and picturesqe qualia is... The sunshine brings out the colour of the sea, and would have allowed for better pics of the stunning vistas from inside our pavilion too. For the most part it was just too dark. If you are going to have a little bit of inclement weather though, qualia is the spot. Our views were simply stunning, no matter what, and we would have been happy to stay and make the most of the pavilion either way...it's that fantastic. The pool is heated, and it just doesnt get cold in the tropics anyway, so all year round is great here rain or shine.
You don't have to take my word for it. qualia is receiving acknowledgment for its standards of luxury and service from the people who know...
2012 |
That is just this years, the list goes on and on.. qualia delivers on its promises. Never before have we had, not only our expectations met, but completely blown away. We now also have expectations we didnt even know we could have! I keep saying it over, and over again...WE ARE GOING TO FIND IT REALLY DIFFICULT TO LOWER OUR EXPECTATIONS, AND BE HAPPY STAYING ANYWHERE ELSE!!. Essentially, we have been ruined.... Winemaker Robert Oatley (we had a complementary bottle of his 2011 Margaret River Chardonnay...superb!) bought Hamilton island in 2003 (yes the whole island) he built qualia, the Yacht Club, The Yacht Club Villas and the Golf Course on Dent Island. I know what you're thinking.....sucks to be him right??? qualia is strictly 16+. If you don't want to leave the kiddies behind I believe The Yacht Club Villas are the way to go. Executive Concierge Leni Fries allocates a staff member from qualia to look after you, and the service is of the same standard. I haven't experienced them, so can't tell you much about them, but would love to. ;-) We are definitley returning to Hamilton Island and qualia to live like royalty again as soon as we can. If only we could live like that every day.... qualia - a collection of deeper sensory experiences. |
